Dawaa

Dawaa is an Arabic word which means to propagate (or spread) Islam. It is incumbent upon every Muslim to make dawaa to non-Muslims. Below are some articles that have been submitted by Muslims who engage themselves much in this effort. We receive so many mailings each day of articles to be submitted. Jazakum Allahu khayran to all of you for your efforts. I pray Allah will give you the best in this life and in the hereafter. Ameen

Paradise or Hell.

1. PARADISE

This wonderful place has been built with alternate layers of Gold and Silver Bricks. The Mortar used therein is pure Muskh (Musk). The Pebbles will be of rubies and pearls and the Soil will be of Saffron. Comfort, pleasure and happiness will be for whom is allowed here. Grief and sorrow will be unknown. Youth will remain forever and death will be of the past.

Strolling along in this beautiful place, one will visualize gardens and rivers, the likes of which cannot ever be imagined let alone seen in this world. Here, the Vessels and Furniture are made of Gold and silver. This is no small place.

There are one hundred stages one above the other, the distance between each equal to the distance between the earth and the sky. The highest stage is the best one. Four Canals will flow in this place: Milk, Honey, Sacred Wine and Water. How wonderful? Each stage is so vast that the entire population of the whole world can be accommodated in it.

Moving along, one will see trees, the trunks of which will be of gold and silver. There will be plenty to eat and drink! Life here will be for eternity!

2. WHO WILL ENTER?

Many people will be allowed in here. However, there will be guards at the gates to ensure that only the right people (whom the Creator wishes) walk in. Before reaching the gates, some questions will have to be answered and some actions which will have to be accounted for!

Many fortunate people will enter without any questioning. Some will have to answer a few questions before stepping further. Some unfortunate people will be turned back.

The best news for us is that the Creator of this magnificent place, who also created us, has told us exactly what requirements and qualifications are required to enter in to this wonderful place!

3. HOW TO ENTER:
THE REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements and qualifications to enter this place are:
1. We must believe that the Creator is the One and the Only One worthy of worship.
2. Once we fulfill the above, We must remember Him five times daily by means of Salaah.
3. We must fast in the month of Ramadhan
4. Give Zakah to the poor & needy
5. Perform the Haj (once in a lifetime) if it is due.

He has been most merciful to us. He did not leave us in the darkness of evil, but, he sent down many Prophets and Holy Books with them to guide us to this wonderful place. He made absolutely certain that we get to know all the conditions and requirements to enter this wonderful place.

4. JANNAH

The wonderful place that has been created by the Creator is `Jannah'. The Creator undoubtedly is the Only Almighty one 'Allah'. The last of the Messengers, is the Holy Prophet Muhammad and the last Holy Book sent with him is the Holy Quraan.

People of the world! Strive hard! This world is a temporary abode! Become a practicing Muslims and cross the Bridge of Siraat at the speed of lightning into the ever lasting wonderful place, Jannah. Which Allah has created for us!

May Allah guide us all to paradise (Jannah).
Ameen!

"Save Us - Oh Allah!"

THE COLOUR OF HELL

This is a place of grief and sorrow. Its torments and troubles are far beyond imagination. It was fanned for a thousand years till it became quite red, then it was fanned for a further thousand years till it became white, and again it was fanned for a thousand years till it became black. Now it is quite black and dark.

THE SIZE OF HELL

Distress, dismay and destruction will await one who is thrown here. Joy and happiness will be unknown. Death will have been sacrificed in the form of a Ram, so there will be no hope of that either.
This place is vast. If a stone were to be thrown into its depth, it would take approximately seventy years to reach the surface. The fire, which awaits the dwellers, is seventy times more severe than anything similar to it in this world.

THE MINIMAL PUNISHMENT FOR THE DWELLERS

No one would like to come here. It is a dreadful place. When it will be brought forth, it will have seventy thousand reigns, each one pulled by seventy thousand Angels. Imagine the sky! What chances of escaping!
This is a place of punishments. All wrongs will be dealt with. Punishments will be in various categories. The person who will be subjected to the least punishment here shall have two shoes of fire on his/her feet. And by their heat, his/her brain will be boiling like a kettle on fire. The person will feel that his/her punishment is the severest and no one else is under more punishment than he or she.

HOW TO AVOID HELL

People will want to stay many miles away from here. And why not? Many fortunate ones won't even have to go near, many others will have no choice!
However, the greatest news for us is that the Creator of this horrible place has indeed informed us of all things to be careful of to avoid this place through His Holy Quraan and His Noble Messenger Muhammad .
We must not ascribe partners to Him, which is called Shirk. We must not be careless at times of Salaah and we must offer salaah punctually. No fit and healthy person should miss out the Fasts in Ramadhan. Also, whoever has the means should give zakaah and perform the Haj.
There are many other things as well, small things and big ones - They may be actions or words - Intentional or unintentional. Any one could lead to this wicked place. Swearing, slandering, backbiting, stealing, drinking wine, drugs, haraam food, unlawful actions, e.t.c. Any of these could lead to destruction.

CONCLUSION

As you will have gathered by now, we have been talking about Jahannam (Hell).
It is most important that we study the Holy Quraan and Seerah - Lifestyle of the Holy Prophet Muhammad to know how to lead our lives in this temporary material world, to be successful in the Hereafter, and to be able to safeguard ourselves from Jahannam!

'Oh Allah! Save us all from Jahannam - Ameen!'

'Truly Hell is a place of ambush.
For the transgressors a place of dwelling.
They will abide therein for ages.
Nothing cool shall they taste therein, Nor any drink.
Except boiling water, and dirty wound discharges.
An exact recompense (according to their crimes).
For that they used not to look for any account.
But they (impudently) treated Our signs as false.
And all things have We preserved on record.
So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds);
For no increase shall We grant you;
Except in Chastisement.'

(Surah An-Nabaa: 21-30)
